The developer and sponsor of Vervana is Panama-based Chagres Capital. Chagres is a seasoned real estate investment firm that manages a multi-million dollar hospitality portfolio with over 6 hotels, 350 rooms, across multiple brands. UDG advises Chagres on the development and construction of the resort. UDG is a leading developer of residential and commercial properties that has completed over $920 million in real estate projects throughout Panama.

Hamak Hotels conceptualized the resort and will manage operations. Hamak, a Latin American company, has pushed the boundaries of traditional hotel luxury by blending nature and local culture to create unique lodging experiences. With their innovative approach, Hamak has become a leader in providing luxury accommodations with a distinctively local flavor. Hamak is set to manage 20+ properties throughout Mexico and Colombia by the end of 2024.

Alberto Calleja founded TAC architects in 1999 and has grown to an award-winning design firm with offices in Panama City, Caracas and Mexico City.
